In addition to the standard lengths and thicknesses found in most inventories, CLC Hardwoods also excels at custom orders and unique specialty cuts. In response to customer demand, we have, for instance, established two specialty cuts at the central Virginia facility where customers can order 3/4” and 7/8” thicknesses in red oak, white oak, poplar and Ash We have annual capacity of 34 million board feet of kiln-dried lumber and over 54 million feet of green and air-dried lumber, as well as industrial-grade hardwoods for use in pallet and railroad tie industries.

This region provides a strategic combination of rainfall, soils, temperature and growing season to produce tight rings and consistent grain patterns and color. These attributes combine to make Appalachian hardwoods the choice for a variety of manufacturing uses, including furniture, cabinetry, flooring and moldings.
